My first paid charter was a success. These kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves and were officially slimed by more than a few trophy catfish in Downtown DC.

Federick with a 51”, north of 60 pound striped bass. he’s not a little human and this was not a little fish. Immediately released after a quick photo and swam away stong. Fishing till true dark is often needed to maximize your shot at a fish of a lifetime.
I’m not little either and this fish also broke that magic 50” mark, 51.5” actually measured on a bump board. We don’t see many bigger than this, but they are out there.
